Better benefits for 40,000 national members

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is Australia’s largest general practice organisation. It represents and supports more than 40,000 urban and rural general practitioners across the country with the mission of helping all Australians live healthier lives. When the organisation approached Member Benefits Australia with an member engagement program challenge, we were eager to help.



The challenge

Before working with us, the RACGP had two benefits providers which created confusion among members. They needed to switch to one provider to achieve a clear offer and benefits that were more relevant and valuable to their members.


The organisation needed a tool to improve engagement and encourage members to renew their subscriptions. They required a more strategic approach to align with their objectives now and ensure success in the future as their industry continued to evolve.

They also wanted to create a program that helped their organisation grow by fostering better third-party commercial relationships.


Our solution

When Member Benefits Australia stepped in, we got to work developing an ongoing short and long-term program strategy. We offered operational support throughout the onboarding process to help the business gain internal stakeholder buy-in. Our experts offered training to their customer service team so that RACGP members could seamlessly take advantage of our full suite of benefits.


Together we developed a custom member portal that is fully branded to align with their corporate and program-specific branding. Their team now enjoys a custom reporting dashboard with key metrics and single sign-on for smooth management and a better benefits offer for their member retention plan.
